Deputies Arrest Felony Theft $1,500 – $25,000 Suspect

… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Terrell Louis Coghill on September 25, 2020, on a warrant for Felony Theft $1,500 – $25,000 obtained by County Police detectives on September 14, 2020.

According to the warrant, shortly after midnight on February 12th, Bowie City police were called to the 1300 Block of Durham Dr. in Bowie, MD about suspicious individuals tampering with cars in the area. When officers arrived, they observed 3 individuals walking and one immediately fled. Coghill, along with another individual rushed and entered a vehicle, but were confronted and detained by an officer. When officers checked the vehicle’s information, they discovered that it had been reported stolen the day before.

 

On September 25th, deputies’ investigation led them to an address in the 1700 Block of Addison Rd South, in District Heights, MD where deputies knocked and were allowed entry by a resident. Coghill was located inside where he was served the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George's County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, MD, without incident.    

 

Coghill is also charged with Theft $100 To Under $1,500, Unauthorized Removal of a Motor Vehicle, Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle, and Rogue and Vagabond.
