Deputies Arrest First Degree Assault Suspects

 

Upper Marlboro, MD… The office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Lesly Noemy Avalos and D’Vaughn Tilghman Killgo on December 3, 2020, on a warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by county police on November 21, 2020.

According to the warrant, on November 21^st, police responded to the 3300 Block of Dunning Rd, in Beltsville, MD, for a reported assault involving a weapon. Upon arrival, police learned that Killgo and Avalos arrived at the victim's residence unannounced. When the victim opened the door, she was assaulted by Avalos and Killgo who also pulled out a firearm, pointing it at the victim before fleeing the scene. Detectives were able to identify both suspects through their investigation.

On December 3^rd, deputies executed a warrant at Killgo’s residence in the 11000 Block of Lockwood Dr, in Silver Spring, MD. Deputies knocked, and Avalos answered the door allowing them to enter. Once inside, Avalos and Killgo were both identified by deputies, served the warrant, taken into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID) without incident.

Avalos and Killgo were also charged with First Degree Assault, Using a Firearm in The Commission of a Crime, Second Degree Assault, and Reckless Endangerment. In addition, Killgo is also charged with Carrying a Handgun on His Person, and Carrying a Handgun in a Vehicle.
