Deputies Arrest Third Degree Burglary Suspect

 

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of James Earl Fells on December 16, 2020, on a warrant for Third Degree Burglary obtained by county police on August 27, 2020.

According to the warrant, on August 27th, police responded to a call in the 2100 Block of Alice Ave in Oxon Hill, MD, for an unknown trouble. When officers arrived, they learned that Fells had forced his way into his former girlfriends’ home, where he was alleged to have assaulted her after an argument. Fells fled the scene before police arrived.

On December 16th, deputies spoke with Fells by phone, notified him of the warrant, and convinced him to turn himself in. Deputies coordinated a location to meet with him, where he was peacefully served the warrant, taken into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, MD, without incident.

Fells is also charged with Second Degree Assault and, Malicious Destruction Of property.
