The Pedestrian bridge that
parallels Water Street and connects the walkway between The
Equestrian Center parking area to Judges Drive near the
Courthouse in Upper Marlboro will be closed starting
Friday, September 30, 2022.
The closure is expected to last
for six months to allow the Department of Public Works and
Transportation to repair corrosion in the critical support beams
of the Pedestrian bridge.
The frequency of the Shuttle
service from The Equestrian Center parking area will increase
during the closure. The Shuttle will run in 8-to-10-minute
intervals and maintain its regular stops at the Courthouse and
County Administration Building (CAB) from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00
p.m. Monday - Friday.
