Warrant/Fugitive Division Felony Arrest Report #PGSO
Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the following felony arrests:
Home Invasion Suspect Arrested
Sheriff’s deputies arrested Chandell and Clante Brown of District Heights, MD, who were wanted on an arrest warrant for Home Invasion obtained by County Police on June 27, 2017.According to the warrant, on June 9th, the Browns and several other female suspects went to a residence in the 2100 block of Rochelle Avenue in District Heights, MD, where they are alleged to have forced entry and assaulted a female victim. The warrant further states that the victim told the suspects to leave the property after which they knocked her to the floor causing an injury to her head, while other suspects assaulted her before fleeing the scene.
On June 27, Sheriff’s deputies learned that both Browns’ were located at a residence in the 1600 block of Addison Road, District Heights, MD. They were positivity identified and taken into custody without incident to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.
The suspects are also charged with First and Second Degree Assault, Third Degree Burglary and Reckless Endangerment.
Theft Suspect Arrested
Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Claudette Williams, of Hyattsville, MD on an arrest warrant for Theft $1,000 to under $10,000 that was obtained by the County Police on May 15, 2017.
The warrant states that on September 26, 2016, at an animal hospital in the 7400 block of Annapolis Road, Hyattsville MD, Williams paid for all charges associated with animal care. The warrant further states that Williams later called the bank, saying that her credit card been stolen and which they removed the charges leaving and unpaid balance at the hospital of approximately 3,000.On July 3rd, deputies’ investigation determined that Williams could be located at an address in the 2300 block of Fire House Road, in Landover MD where she was advised that there was an open warrant for her arrest. Williams was taken into custody and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections without incident.

Warrant/Fugitive Division Felony Arrest Report #PGSO
Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the following felony arrests:
First Degree Murder Suspect Extradited
Sheriff’s deputies extradited Patrick Stran back to Prince George’s County, MD on June 22, 2017 from the Humboldt County Jail in Eureka California. Stran was wanted on an arrest warrant for First Degree Murder issued on April 7, 2017 by the District Court of Prince George's County.
According to the warrant, on March 25th, in the intersection of Edinburgh Lane and Enfield Court in Laurel, Prince George’s County Public Safety Communications received several 911 calls for the sound of gunshots and an automobile accident. Eye witness accounts indicate that before the car crash, Stran allegedly shot into a vehicle striking a male victim. Further accounts are that the vehicle continued to move forward striking a dumpster, as Stran fled the scene. The warrant further states that the Stran and the victim, who died, had an altercation earlier.
Stran is also charged with Second Degree Murder, First and Second Degree Assault, Handgun on Person and Firearm Use ad Felony Violent and Violent Crime.
Attempted First Degree Murder Suspect Arrested
Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Shawn Askew of Lanham, MD on an arrest warrant for Attempted First Degree Murder that was obtained by the County Police on June 14, 2017.
According to the warrant, on June 13, 2017 Askew and a female suspect were in the 9400 block of Annapolis Road in Lanham, MD when they became involved in an altercation with two other females. A female suspect is alleged to have pulled out a pocket knife as the other females got into their vehicle. Askew is alleged to have produced a handgun and shot at the victims’ side back window. The victims pulled off the road and called the police. The warrant indicates that the incident may have been related to an earlier altercation. Upon receipt of the warrant, on June 28th, Sheriff Deputies located Askew in the 5500 block of Duchaine in Lanham MD. Askew was taken into custody and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.
Askew is also charged with Attempted Second Murder, First Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Handgun on Person and Firearm Use and Violent Crime.
