Warrant/Fugitive Division Felony Arrest Report

Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the following felony arrests:

First Degree Assault Suspect Arrested

Sheriff Deputies arrested Abner Hernandez-Bonilla of Laurel MD on an arrest warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by the County Police on April 11^th, 2017.

The warrant states that on April 11^th, Hernandez-Bonilla was in the 11400 block of Cherry Hill Road in Beltsville, MD. According to the warrant he went into a wooded area with a person known to him and produced a knife, pointed it at the man and demanded his property. The victim in fear of his life gave Hernandez-Bonilla his belongings that included some cash, a backpack and his iPhone. 

  

On May 12^th, deputies received a call about Hernandez-Bonilla’s whereabouts. Deputies went to the location, where they informed Hernandez-Bonilla about the warrant and placed him into custody. He was transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections without incident.

Hernandez-Bonilla is also charged with Armed Robbery, Robbery, Second Degree Assault, Dangerous Weapon with Intent to Injure, and Theft $1,000 to under $10,000.

Sexual Abuse of a Minor

Sheriff Deputies arrested Redin Torres-Valladares of Hyattsville, MD on an arrest warrant for Sexual Abuse of a Minor obtained by the County Police on May 5, 2017.

According to the warrant, a victim alleged that Torres-Valladares had sexually abused them on one occasion, the suspect voluntarily agreed to respond for an interview with detectives.

On May 15^th Deputies arranged for Torres-Valladares to meet with them in Hyattsville, MD. After they made contact with him he was advised of the warrant, placed into custody, and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.

Torres-Valladares is also charged with Rape Second Degree, Second Degree Assault, and Sex- Offense Fourth Degree.
