Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Fraud – Felony Theft Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD…  The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest Thursday of Bamikole Ibikunle on an arrest warrant for Fraud obtained by County Police CID detectives on November 20, 2012.

According to the warrant, Ibikunle facilitated two fraudulent purchases of high end video equipment, with a value of $8,170.00, from the business account of a victim. The warrant further states that Ibikunle attempted to purchase more than $50,000.00 of additional equipment using 11 stolen credit card numbers.

Deputies investigating Ibikunle’s whereabouts were led to the 6300 block of Landover Rd, in Cheverly, MD, where he was located and arrested without incident.

CID detectives were notified of the arrest and Ibikunle was transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections – charged with Fraud, Illegal Use of Credit Card, Felony Theft, Theft Scheme, and Attempted Felony Theft.
