Sheriff’s Explorers Post Honored at Awards Banquet

The Prince George’s County Sheriffs Explorer Post 1696 was honored with the “Gold Award” Friday evening at the 2^nd Annual Officer Adrian Morris Memorial Law Enforcement Explorer Awards Banquet.  The award recognized post 1696 for completing over 1000 hours of community service during 2012. Lieutenant Yakeisha Hines, Coordinator of the Sheriff’s Explorer Program, was also honored with the President’s Call to Service Award, which recognized her for completing more than 4000 lifetime community service hours with the Explorers Program.
