Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest Friday of Jabria Weaver on an arrest warrant for Armed Robbery obtained by County Police District I detectives on February 27, 2013.
According to the warrant, Weaver and a male suspect were in the 7000 block of Powhatan St. in New Carrollton, MD, on February 25, 2013, when they approached another male and demanded his shoes. Weaver, who was wearing a ski mask at the time of the robbery, had her hand under her shirt implying that she had a weapon. The victim, fearing for his life, relinquished his shoes to the suspects before they fled the scene.
Deputies investigating Weaver’s whereabouts were led to the 5800 block of Nystrom St. in New Carrollton, MD, where they located and apprehended her without incident.
District I detectives were notified of Weaver’s arrest and she was transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections – charged with Armed Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery, Robbery, Misdemeanor Theft and Conspiracy to Commit Misdemeanor Theft.
