Warrant Deputies Arrest 1st Degree Assault Suspect in Oxon Hill

Upper Marlboro, MD…The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Eddie Ramirez  last Friday on an arrest warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by County Police District IV Robbery Suppression Team (RST) on August 30, 2013.

According to the warrant, Ramirez and two other unknown men robbed another male in a parking lot in the 900 block of Marcy Avenue in Oxon Hill, MD.  Additionally, the warrant states Ramirez approached the victim asking for cigarettes, then subsequently demanded the victim’s money and property at knifepoint before fleeing.

Deputies investigating Ramirez’s whereabouts located him at an address in the 900 block of Marcy Avenue in Oxon Hill, MD.  He was taken into custody and transported to the District 4 station for questioning by the RST

Ramirez was also charged with Armed Robbery, Second Degree Assault and an additional count of First Degree Assault.
