Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the
following felony arrests:
Attempted
First Degree Murder Suspect Arrested
Sheriff’s deputies arrested Darius
Jackson of Capitol Heights, MD, who was wanted on an arrest warrant for
Attempted First Degree Murder obtained by County Police on April 22, 2015.
Deputies
attempted to locate Jackson multiple times, however when their attempts were
unsuccessful, the warrant was reassigned to the Warrant Division Fugitive
Apprehension & Surveillance Team (FAST). On May 11, FAST Deputies located
Jackson at a residence in the 8000 block of Edgeworth Drive, District Heights,
MD, where they were granted access to the residence where they found Jackson.
He was taken into custody without incident and transported District III Police
Station.
Jackson is also charged with First
Degree Assault (2x), Firearm Use/Felony Violent Crime, Reckless Endangerment (2x).
Felony
Indictment Suspect Arrested
Upon receiving the indictment,
(FAST) Deputies began an investigation into Smith whereabouts. FAST Deputies
located and arrested Smith on May 22, 2015, in the 7000 block of Circle Dr.
East in Oxon Hill, MD.
