Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested
Sheriff’s deputies arrested Dion Morgan of District Heights, MD, who was wanted on an arrest warrant for Armed Robbery that was obtained by the Howard County Police Department on July 08, 2015.
According to the warrant, on June 27, 2015, in the 9000 block of Canterbury Riding in Laurel, MD, Morgan and another suspect knocked on the door and entered the home of a resident. Upon entry, Morgan is alleged to have pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his wallet, after which they fled the scene. Upon receipt of the warrant, deputies’ investigation determined that Morgan could be located in the 9000 block of Homestead Court in Laurel, MD. Deputies and members of the Howard County Warrant Squad went to the residence where Morgan was located and taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Howard County Detention Center.
Morgan is also charged with Robbery, Con-Armed Robbery, First and Second Degree Assault and Theft less than $1,000(2x).
Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested
Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tyrone Gloster of Upper Marlboro, MD, who was wanted on an arrest warrant for Armed Robbery that was obtained by County Police on July 16, 2015.
According to the warrant, on July 12, 2015, in the 15000 block of Livingston Road in Accokeek, MD, Gloster and another suspect are alleged to have approached two victims’ with a handgun and demanded their property. The warrant further states that the two suspects robbed victims of over $2000 dollars, a leather belt and a Canon camera and fled the scene in the victims’ vehicle. On July 28, deputies’ investigation determined that Gloster could be located in the 2000 block of Mill Crossing Drive in Fort Washington, MD. Sheriff deputies went to the residence where Gloster was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Upper Marlboro Correctional Facility for processing.
Gloster is also charged with Robbery (2x), Firearm Use/Felony Violent Crime (2x), First and Second Degree Assault (2x), Theft 1,000 to under 10,000 and Theft less than $1,000.
