Child Support Enforcement Arrest: Parent Owes $170,700 in Child Support #PGSO
Upper Marlboro, MD…The Office of the Sheriff’s Child Support Enforcement Division reported that Deputies arrested a 42-year old, District Heights, father of five on three arrest warrants dated January 21, 2016. The father was wanted for unpaid court-ordered child support payments in excess of $170,700. One of the three child support cases dates back to 1998.
An investigation by the Child Support Enforcement Division on February 8, 2016, led deputies to a location in District Heights, MD, where the suspect was observed leaving a residence and getting into a vehicle. Deputies followed the suspect and performed a traffic stop after which they verified the suspect’s identity and placed him into custody without incident.
The suspect was transported to the Prince Georges County Department of Corrections for processing where he is being held on a no bond status.
