Warrant/Fugitive Division Felony Arrest Report #PGSO

Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the following felony arrests:

Attempted First Degree Murder Suspect Arrested

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Christian Meza of Riverdale, MD, who was wanted on an arrest warrant for Attempted First Degree Murder obtained by County Police on July 28, 2016.

  According to the warrant, on July 25, 2016, Meza was in a parking lot in the 9000 block of Muirkirk Road, MD. He is alleged to have pulled out a loaded weapon, firing it several times and striking a male victim who was known to him in the neck, back and stomach after which he fled the scene.

On July 28th, Sheriff Deputies located Meza at a residence in the 6000 block of Greenvale Parkway in Riverdale, MD where they took him into custody without incident and transported him to Police District I for further investigation.

Meza is also charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder, First and Second Degree Assault, Handgun in Person, Handgun in Vehicle, and Firearm Use/Felony Violent Crime
 
First Degree Assault Suspect Arrested

Sheriff’s deputies arrested William Urquilla-Aragon of Hyattsville, MD on an arrest warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by County Police Department on July 18, 2016.

According to the warrant, in July 16, 2016, Urquilla-Aragon were engaged in an argument that turned physical in the 8000 block of 15th Avenue in Hyattsville, MD. During the altercation, Urquilla-Aragon is alleged to have grabbed a female victim, shoved her to the ground and choked her causing lacerations to the neck and face, after which he fled the scene.

On July 28, deputies’ investigation determined that Urquilla-Aragon could be located at a residence in the 8000 block of 15th Ave. in Hyattsville, MD. Deputies and County Police went to the residence Urquilla-Aragon was located, taken into custody without incident and transported to the Department of Corrections in Hyattsville for processing. Urquilla-Aragon are also charged with Second Degree Assault.
