Deputies Arrest Theft Scheme 1,500 to 25,000 Suspect


 

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Victor Stephen Ford on January 14, 2021, on a warrant for Theft Scheme 1,500 to 25,000 obtained by county police on January 8, 2021.

According to the warrant, Police learned that from September 4, 2020 to November 11, 2020 Ford was alleged to have taken vehicle parts from several trucks that belonged to a traffic control and pavement service company. Ford recycled all the stolen property. Detectives were able to identify Ford as the suspect through their investigation.

On January 14th, deputies were able to determine that Ford could be located at an address in the 2600 Block of Phelps Ave, in Forestville, MD. Deputies knocked on the door, and a resident answered allowing them to enter the home. Deputies identified Ford inside the residence and he was served the warrant, taken into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, MD, without incident.

Ford is also charged with two counts of Theft 1,500 to Under 25,000 and three counts of fourth Degree Burglary Theft.
