Deputies Arrest Sex Abuse of a Minor Suspect

 

Upper Marlboro, MD The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Edwin Omar Pulex-Castellanos on January 11, 2021, on a warrant for Sex Abuse of a Minor obtained by police on January 5, 2021.

According to the warrant, from September 2020 through December 2020, a minor victim disclosed that on several different occasions, they were allegedly led by Pulex-Castellanos into having sexual intercourse with him at a home located in Laurel, MD.

On January 11th, deputies executed the warrant for Pulex-Castellanos at a home in Laurel, MD. When deputies knocked on the door Pulex-Castellanos answered allowing them to enter the home. Once inside, deputies served him the warrant, placed him into custody, and safely transported him to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, MD, without incident.

Pulex-Castellanos is also charged with three counts of Second-Degree Rape and three counts of Third-Degree Sex Offense.
