Deputies Arrest First Degree Assault Suspect

 

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Shane Patrick McAndrew on January 14, 2021, on a warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by county police on January 1, 2021.

According to the warrant, on November 30, 2020, police responded to the 4400 Block of Dery Rd in upper Marlboro, MD for a Domestic Violence call involving a weapon. Upon arrival, police spoke with the victim, who reported arguing with McAndrew in a vehicle. McAndrew is alleged to have punched the victim in the face causing injury before fleeing the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital where they received treatment.

On January 14th, deputies were able to determine that McAndrew could be located in the 4000 Block of Chelmont Ln in Bowie, MD. Deputies knocked on the door and a resident allowed them to enter. Deputies identified McAndrew inside where he was served the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit without incident.

McAndrew is also charged with Second Degree Assault.

Deputies Arrest Theft Scheme 1,500 to 25,000 Suspect


 

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Victor Stephen Ford on January 14, 2021, on a warrant for Theft Scheme 1,500 to 25,000 obtained by county police on January 8, 2021.

According to the warrant, Police learned that from September 4, 2020 to November 11, 2020 Ford was alleged to have taken vehicle parts from several trucks that belonged to a traffic control and pavement service company. Ford recycled all the stolen property. Detectives were able to identify Ford as the suspect through their investigation.

On January 14th, deputies were able to determine that Ford could be located at an address in the 2600 Block of Phelps Ave, in Forestville, MD. Deputies knocked on the door, and a resident answered allowing them to enter the home. Deputies identified Ford inside the residence and he was served the warrant, taken into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, MD, without incident.

Ford is also charged with two counts of Theft 1,500 to Under 25,000 and three counts of fourth Degree Burglary Theft.

Deputies Arrest Sex Abuse of a Minor Suspect

 

Upper Marlboro, MD The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Edwin Omar Pulex-Castellanos on January 11, 2021, on a warrant for Sex Abuse of a Minor obtained by police on January 5, 2021.

According to the warrant, from September 2020 through December 2020, a minor victim disclosed that on several different occasions, they were allegedly led by Pulex-Castellanos into having sexual intercourse with him at a home located in Laurel, MD.

On January 11th, deputies executed the warrant for Pulex-Castellanos at a home in Laurel, MD. When deputies knocked on the door Pulex-Castellanos answered allowing them to enter the home. Once inside, deputies served him the warrant, placed him into custody, and safely transported him to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, MD, without incident.

Pulex-Castellanos is also charged with three counts of Second-Degree Rape and three counts of Third-Degree Sex Offense.
