According to the warrant, on or about March 13, 2013 Ehimo did break and enter an address in the 5800 block of Annapolis Rd, Bladensburg, MD and stole property valued at more than $1,000 but less than $10,000.
Chief Charles Owens, chief of the Bladensburg Police Department said, “We believed this individual was involved in a number of burglaries in our community and that he presented a danger. Ensuring a safe entry and arrest was my first priority; working with the Sheriff’s Specialized Service Team was our best opportunity to assure that outcome.”
According to Chief Owens, property obtained at the location has been identified from a number of burglaries in Bladensburg. “With this and other related arrests, I believe we have put a dent in an expansive burglary ring and multiple “Breaking and Entering” crimes which seriously impact the quality of life for the citizens of my city.”
Prince George’s County Chief Assistant Sheriff Darrin Palmer said, “Working with other local law enforcement has been a source of great success for the Sheriff’s Office. We are always ready to assist and pleased by the outcome of this operation for Chief Owens, his team and the citizens of Bladensburg
