Theft: $10,000 to under $100,000 Suspect Arrested
Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Earl Knight of Oxon Hill, MD, who was wanted on an arrest warrant for Theft: $10,000 to under $100,000 that was obtained by County Police on October 20, 2016.
According to the warrant, on October 10th, at a restaurant in the 170 block of Fleet Street in Oxon Hill, MD, Knight, a former employee, is alleged to have stolen money from the manager’s office. The warrant states that Knight was seen on video removing keys from his pocket and opening the office door. Knight allegedly gained access to two safes and took over $10,000. The warrant further states Knight previously sent several threatening messages to the manager regarding a shortage on his last pay check.
Upon receipt of the warrant, Warrant/Fugitive Deputies began an investigation into Knights’ whereabouts. On October 27, 2016, he was located and apprehended at a residence in the 300 block of Brockton Road in Oxon Hill, MD. Knight was taken into custody without incident and transported to District IIII for questioning.
He is also charged with Fourth Degree Burglary.
Third Degree Sex Offense Suspect Arrested
Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Ricardo Lainez-Rodriguez of Oxon Hill, MD on an arrest warrant for Third Degree Sex Offense obtained by County Police on September 7, 2016.
According to the warrant, during the month of August 2016 at a location in Temple Hills, MD, Lainez-Rodriguez was engaged in sexual contact with an underage victim. On October 28th, Deputies’ located Lainez-Rodriguez in the 800 block of Marcy Ave in Oxon Hill, MD where he was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.
Lainez-Rodriguez is also charged with Assault Second Degree and Sex Offense Fourth Degree Sexual Contact.
