Deputies Arrest First Degree Assault Suspect

 

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Wendell Vincent Garrison on March 11, 2021, on a warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by county police on November 11, 2020.

According to the warrant, police were notified of a citizen robbery that occurred on November 11, 2020, in the 7700 Block of Marlboro Pike, in District Heights MD. Police spoke with the victim, who reported being followed to his vehicle by four suspects. The suspects are alleged to have approached the victim from behind, assaulted him and took his property before fleeing the scene leaving the victim unconscious. Detectives were able to identify Garrison as one of the suspects through their investigation.

On March 11th, deputies were able to determine that Garrison could be located in the 4700 Block of John Rogers Blvd. in Upper Marlboro, MD. When deputies knocked on the door, Garrison answered, allowing them to enter the home. Once inside, he was served the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, MD without incident.

Garrison is also charged with Robbery, Second-Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Theft $100 To Under $1,500.
